King County Aquatic Center

The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center is a legacy venue of the 1990 Seattle Goodwill Games. This 2,500-seat facility maintains one of the most active competition schedules in the country, hosting more than 50 events annually. It has been the site of Olympic Trials, top national and international competitions, and the Pacific Northwest's premiere events. The 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Diving will be hosted here.
The Aquatic Center has used Vitroclean since 1998, with outstanding results, especially in the dive well where high clarity is required.

The sand filters have been switched over to Vitroclean a little over 3 years
ago. “We are extremely happy. We maintain better water quality with fewer chemicals.
The filters operate with less maintenance since they backwash very clean," says Facilities Manager, Manual Zuniga.

HeatherRidge
Gurnee, Illinois
HeatherRidge is situated on 370 acres with town homes,
condominiums, a golf course, and four commercial pools. With 1,000 plus residents, maintaining water quality in the pools is essential.
All four pools
where converted to Vitroclean in the spring of 2010 after having one pool
on Vitroclean in 2009. According to Jason Shamrock maintenance supervisor,
“the pools where cleaner, we used less chemicals, and the filters ran better. We will never go back to
sand. We love the glass! It should be noted that this was the hottest summer
in over 10 years and pool use was way up.”

Riverside Health Fitness Center is a 70,000 square foot world class medically based fitness center owned and operated by
Riverside Health Care. Their pools are some of the best maintained pools in the country.
The facility has used Vitroclean since 2009 with excellent results. Norm who helps take care of the pools has been very satisfied with the performance of the glass filter media and would highly recommend the products for any commercial facility looking to improve the quality of their water.
